  • The NYSABA membership year runs from September 1 to August 31 of the following year. 
  • Members will be able to renew after their current membership has lapsed; the form will be inaccessible if their membership is currently active.

Individual Membership Prices and Information

Full Advocacy  Member

$100

 A full Advocacy Member is a full member who elects, through their membership dues, to support NYSABA's public policy and advocacy efforts to support greater equity in behavior analytic services in New York State. 

Full Member

$60

A Full Member must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant (CBAA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), or possess the minimum of a Master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education, or a related discipline. Full Members must have a professional commitment that includes teaching, research, or practice in behavior analysis. You will need to include your BCBA and/or LBA number for verification. Anyone not meeting these qualifications may apply for an Affiliate Membership.

Full Member (Auto-Renew)

Full members who select to have their membership automatically renewed at the end of the membership year receive the discounted membership price of $55.  

Affiliate Member

$60

An Affiliate Member is any professional who is interested in the discipline of behavior analysis, but who does not meet the requirements for Full Membership. Affiliate Members enjoy all benefits of full membership except for the right to be president-elect, president or past president.

Affiliate members who select to have their membership automatically renewed at the end of the membership year receive the discounted membership price of $55.  

Student/Behavior Technician (BT)

$20

A Student/BT Member must be one of the following

  • Currently enrolled in a high school, undergraduate, or graduate educational program on a part- or full-time basis.
  • Currently employed in a program, agency, or clinic currently overseen or supervised by a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), Certified Behavior Analyst Assistant (CBAA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).
Student/BT Members may neither vote in general elections nor hold a voting position on the NYSABA Board. Proof of this membership level is required, including the name and contact information of the current supervisor. 

Organization Membership Pricing and Information

NYSABA has launched an Organizational Membership in 2026 to give agencies of every size access to NYSABA’s resources, professional benefits, and advocacy. Organizational Membership includes regular updates on Public Policy initiatives and more opportunities to help shape them. Public Policy initiatives are broad and useful to organizations of any size and type. Areas of focus for the public policy committee include:

  4. Insurance and Medicaid rules and regulations advocacy
  5. Licensure changes and regulations
  7. Protection of the field/professionals within New York.
