The 2019 legislative session begins on January 9th and continues through June 19th! We are kicking off this session with a Legislative Rally on January 12th at St. Joseph’s College on Long Island*. We will bring together professionals and families to learn about and discuss our plans for the upcoming session.
*This event has been cancelled.
The rally will begin with a legislative discussion for all participants, and then three breakout sessions: Responsible Supervision: Meeting BACB and NYS Requirements by Dr. Bobby Newman (1.5 CEU’s), ABA Everyday: Teaching Adaptive Behavior at Home by Elizabeth Drago and Amanda Narra, and LBA vs BCBA: What You Need to Know by Dr. Kimberly Shamoun. We are also excited to have Bobbi Rogers, parent of a child with special needs, join us for a call to action.
