Job Description: Board Certified  Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior Analyst

Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism (NSSA) is seeking a Board Certified  Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior

Analyst to work full time in our Adult Day Habilitation Program without walls.

At NSSA we are deeply committed to the science of Behavior Analysis. We're  also passionate about the participants we serve and their ability  to continue to learn and develop new skills and interests  throughout their  adult lives- both at home and in the community. Our Adult Program without walls provides individualized skill acquisition and behavior management programs, as well as, community integration, volunteer opportunities and job development for our participants.

 

We are seeking a full-time Board Certified  or Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. Responsibilities  include the development, delivery, and evaluation of all behavior  support  services including, but not limited to, functional assessments, behavior support  programs and strategies, crisis intervention, case review, and ongoing staff training, observation and consultation with the direct support  team assigned to you. The goal is to ensure the highest quality  of clinical services in a manner that is aligned with the science and our Agency's mission and vision.

 

Duties Include:

•     Development, oversight  and revision of behavior  plans and protocols

•     Development of Staff Action Plans (individualized goals and targets)

•     Ongoing staff training and observation

•     Data analysis and review  with your assigned direct support  team

•     Participation in Peer Review Committee meetings to discuss clinical needs

•     Present plans at Human Rights Committee as needed

•     Ensure effective implementation of goals/provide in vivo  instruction

•     Conduct weekly clinical meetings  with assigned teams

•     Attend  biweekly  meetings with  Director

•     Attend  agency clinical meetings as scheduled

 

 

Qualifications:

•     Board Certified  or Licensed Behavior Analyst

•     Master's Degree in psychology, social work, school psychology, education, or related  human services field

•     Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities  (autism  preferred)

•     Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task in a fast paced environment

•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•     Previous supervisory  experience  a plus

•     Ability to stand, walk, bend and climb, ability  to lift, push, pull and hold 50 pounds or more

•     Valid NYS Driver's License
