Job Description: Educational Coordinator

Eden II/Genesis Programs is a non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with autism for over 40 years. We are seeking qualified, motivated, professionals to join our School program. The Clinical Coordinator position will provide instructional services Teachers and Staff under general supervision of their program director. Experience working with individuals with autism is required, and working knowledge of ABA is highly desired. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical supervision to classroom teachers and behavior specialists.

  • Provide ABA training to teachers/behavior specialists/assistants on reinforcement, behavior plan implementation, data collection and professionalism

  • Supervising proper IEP development, implementation and progress reports

  • Review and evaluate student data books

  • Develop educational curriculum and train teachers in their application

  • Assist teachers in conducting NYSAA

  • Conduct student clinics evaluating programming, instruction, and materials as well as providing follow up recommendations

  • Conduct behavior assessments, develop behavior plans and train all staff in the classroom

  • Conduct staff observation and write formal evaluations. Requires year end evaluations for teaching assistant staff.

  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director.

 

Required skills:

Master’s degree required in a related field.

Minimum five years of experience in applied behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorders.

BCBA certification Preferred

NY State Department of Education certification preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory experience preferred.
