As a BCBA-LBA Training Supervisor, you will improve and maintain the behavior-analytic, professional, and ethical repertoires of the trainee and facilitate the delivery of high-quality services to the trainee’s clients.

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Provide oversight of administrative compliance with BCBA and/or LBA regulations to a staff of up to 15 across multiple sites.

  • Monitor the skills throughout the supervised experience and observe the trainee’s performance with clients; deliver feedback.

  • Develop and communicate performance expectations to the supervisee.

  • Interface, collaborate and communicate with the supervisee’s program supervisor regarding assignments and programmatic needs.

  • Conduct behavioral skills training for the supervisee; Model technical, professional, and ethical behavior.

  • Guide the development of behavioral case conceptualization, problem-solving, and decision-making

  • Review the supervisee’s written materials (e.g., behavior programs, data sheets, reports) and deliver related feedback about products.

  • Review daily actions in experience tracker, as documented by supervisee.

  • Provide supervision in accordance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts, including, but not limited to providing supervision to the supervisee only within the boundaries of their competence.

  • Facilitate in-depth discussion/understanding with supervisee of issues affecting practice – both personally and professionally.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Licensed Behavior Analyst or an authorized health practitioner who currently diagnoses, prescribes, or orders treatment involving applied behavior analysis services in the jurisdiction where the supervised experience will occur.

  • Must hold BCBA or BCBA-D certification, or be a licensed or registered psychologist certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology who was tested in Applied Behavior Analysis, or be an approved instructor in a verified course sequence.

  • Must have passed the 8-hour competency-based training covering BACB’s Supervisor Training Curriculum Outline and maintain continuing education requirements.

  • Experience in both theoretical, practical, and ethical application of behavior analytic principles.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours and have own transportation

  • Must be up-to-date on the BACB Experience Standards and BACB Newsletters for the duration of the experience as well as all regulations and experience requirements for LBAs.
