Dear NYSABA Member,

NYSABA Board of Directors and staff have been hard at work enhancing the Association website, www.nysaba.org. At the site, you’ll find:

  • 2007 NYSABA Annual Conference Brochure and Call for Papers – Don’t miss this year’s keynote speakers, Jon Bailey, Ph.D. and Peter Gerhardt, Ed.D. If you’re interested in attending this 2-day conference in Verona, NY, be sure to browse the brochure.
  • 2007 NYSABA Annual Conference Sponsor Form – Are you interested in helping make this year’s conference a successful one for yourself and your colleagues? Become a Sponsor today!
  • 2007 NYSABA Awards’ Nomination Form – If you know of an individual, agency, or organization that has made significant contributions to the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), fill out this form today. Remember, the deadline for nominations is Wednesday, August 15, 2007.

Legislative Survey Update
On behalf of the Legislative Committee and Board of Directors, we thank those of you who have taken the time to complete the NYSABA Legislative Survey. Your answers will help us work towards recognition of Board Certified Behavior Analysts by New York State.

If you haven’t had the chance to complete the survey, there’s still time. The deadline is Monday, July 9, so visit our Legislative Survey today!

Looking Ahead
As we work through the remainder of 2007, be on the look out for the Summer/Fall issue of our newsletter. This issue will include committee updates, details regarding the annual conference, and much more.

We’ll also be looking for new professionals to join the NYSABA leadership team this fall. If you’re interested in becoming a board member, or know of someone with strong leadership qualities, be sure to return the nomination form to Association headquarters.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments – we welcome your feedback.

Enjoy your summer!

Joe Pancari
